Stamford Squash Club Finals 2014
The start of the day began with the usual On-the-Day competition, open to anybody who wants to play on the day.
Then the main finals began, with the Veterans being played between two die-hards of the club Dave Spooner and Simon Barker. Despite Simon giving it his all Dave Spooner came through victorious.
Next was the Handicap Final with Nicholas Cole beating Eden Spooner who fought to the end.
This was followed by the Ladies Final with Debbie Bowen playing good squash to over come Margaret Miles.
To finish off was the Mens Final between Simon Morris and Martin Brewin. This proved to be a marathon match which went all the way to the 5th game but Martin successfully came through to take the title.
Later on was the entertaining and enjoyable Club Dinner. A few photos from the event below….
